OUR ARTICLES OF FAITH
- We believe and we are committed to the belief in the authority and sufficiency of Scripture as revealed in the 66 books of the Holy Bible for all matters of faith and conduct.
- We believe in the doctrine of Salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
- We believe that Christ is God incarnated into human flesh.
- We believe in his virgin birth; that He was single; that He walked the earth for 33 years; died on the cross for the sake of mankind, arose the third day and then ascended to heaven to sit at the right-hand of God the Father where He is today, interceding for us.
- We believe that by his death and resurrection Jesus Christ has redeemed us from sin and the consequences of sin; that He has thereby restored God’s love to us and that nothing whatsoever can separate those who belief in his death and resurrection from that love.
- We believe that whereas political, social and technological changes are continual, the needs of human hearts are still the same, and the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only hope for the universal sinfulness and guilt of fallen man.
- We believe in the sovereignty and grace of God, Father Son and Holy Spirit in creation, providence, revelation, redemption and final judgements.
- We believe in the regenerating, in-dwelling and sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the expectation of the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to this earth in power and glory.
- We believe that tithing is unscriptural; that no one under the New Covenant can be under a curse or condemnation, and we believe that the source of prosperity is by grace alone.
- We believe that Christmas is a part of a ‘season’ of celebration, but that the reason for that season is Christ and no other reason. We believe that it is a time to reflect on and pray for the Second Coming of our Lord and Savour Jesus Christ and, until He comes, to intercede in prayer for the world and for one another and to give to the poor, instead of in an annual ritual of mutual self-gratification.
